Surrounded by snow capped mountains, Bow Lake is a large, turquoise color, glacier fed lake with winds which can create choppy waters. The SW end has a beautiful forested shoreline for experienced paddlers to explore.
Novice & experienced paddlers can practice SUP yoga safely by anchoring a safe distance from shore at the Day Use Area or Numti Jah Lodge during early mornings or evening when the water is calm.

Herbert Lake is surrounded by forest & mountains however you can catch a glimpse of it from the Icefields Parkway. The water is so calm it looks like glass. The sunrise & sunset are both equally stunning!
