Lower Kananaskis Lake is a large, long, skinny reservoir. The shape helps to reduce the wind although the water is still very cold.

The Canyon & Peninusula Day Use areas are located at the north end of Lower Lakes. There is a bay between them perfect for SUP Yoga!

A very serene spot with magnificent views & reflections from crystal clear, calm water. Picnic tables available in a beautiful, forested setting to spend the day. Water levels are low so a small (or no fin) is recommended.

In September, water levels were too low to SUP however I hope early summer 2021 will be perfect. This spot will be absolutely magical for Yoga on the water!
